INTRODUCTION
✨ In this teaching, Master Woo Myung addresses a common question of our times: Are global warming, El Niño, or even sunspots responsible for extreme weather and climate change?
He clarifies that extreme weather occurred just as frequently in the past as it does today, but because modern communication spreads information instantly, it appears more frequent than before. He also explains that seasonal shifts in northern and southern air streams naturally produce storms, heavy rains, and snow—phenomena often mistaken for climate change.
While human actions have undeniably harmed nature, Master Woo Myung emphasizes understanding the larger principle: nature always returns to balance, and consequences unfold according to its flow. 🌿🌍
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Are global warming and El Niño – the rising of temperatures in the eastern tropical pacific sea and the Pacific Ocean – the reasons behind climate change and extreme weather, or could sunspots be the cause?
Extreme weather happened as frequently in the past as it does now, but it merely seems as though it has been happening more often in recent years because information now disseminates more quickly through the development of mass communication. Although it may look as though the Earth stays the same, northern and southern air streams cross over and change positions with the changing of the seasons. It is at these times that we experience heavy rainfall and snowstorms. When these become severe, they are called extreme weather or climate change, but this is not actually what this is.
Of course, mankind has harmed the environment and gone against nature’s flow by polluting it, and having done so the consequences of such actions fall on mankind. For example, when the ozone layer is damaged the population will decrease until the ozone layer is recovered. This is nature’s flow. Although it cannot be denied that changes in the environment which are precipitated by mankind happen, there is no need to be too fixated on whether things happen because of this or that.
