INTRODUCTION
🌌 In Flaw, Master Woo Myung unveils one of the most profound truths of human existence — that man’s mind itself is the flaw in the Universe.
Though the Universe is perfect and whole, human beings live trapped in the illusions of affection, attachment, and desire. They mistake these for love, yet they are merely reflections of longing and lack.
The poem reveals that the more we cling to these desires, the deeper we fall into falseness. True dō (Truth), Master Woo Myung teaches, is the way of mending this flaw — by following Heaven’s will and discarding the self-made wants that obscure the perfect source within.
Only when this flaw has been eliminated can man return to the one origin, the boundless source of all existence. 🌠
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Flaw
People live crying for affection;
they live deceived by that affection.
People live bound to love;
they live deceived by that love.
In one form or another, people live deceived,
thus greatening the falseness of their minds.
Man’s mind is a flaw in the Universe,
and man lives a life that is of this flawed mind;
he lives in this flaw.
It is when this flaw has been eliminated
that man can become the one source.
But even though this source is right in front of him,
man is unable to find it because of his wants.
There is not one person in this world
who knows that his wants are what become his flaw.
Thus ‘dō (Truth)’ is teaching man how to mend his flaw
according to Heaven’s will.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, Flaw reminds us that the suffering of mankind does not come from the world — it comes from the mind that desires. 💭
When one’s wants are countless, the heart becomes clouded, and the original source is hidden from view. But when the false mind is cleansed through meditation, the flaw disappears, and what remains is the perfect Universe, already complete.
The practice of dō (Truth) is the way to mend this flaw — not by gaining something new, but by discarding all that is false, until the mind becomes one with Heaven’s will. 🌿
