INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this concise teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that the eyes reflect the state of oneβs mind. π
πΏ He reveals that the entire Universeβboth existent and non-existentβis of one Mind, yet people are unable to see this because they are trapped in their own discernments.
This reflection invites us to see beyond divisions and perceive from the viewpoint of the Whole. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The Eyes Are the Mirrors of the Mind
The whole of creation is of one Mind, and it is reflected in our eyes. Accordingly, oneβs eyes are the mirrors of his mind since they reflect his mind.
The whole of the existent and nonexistent Universe is the Mind, and that Mind is the Whole; it is simply one.
Man, however, is deceived by his discernments of what exists and what does not; so his eyes cannot see from the viewpoint of the Whole β or in other words, the viewpoint of the Mind.
That is why his discernments are endless.

πΏ REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is reflected upon as a way to understand how perception changes when the mind is cleansed. As discernments fade, one begins to see from the viewpoint of the Whole, exactly as taught by Master Woo Myung. π
