🌟 INTRODUCTION
✨ What lies beyond existence and non-existence? 🌿
In this concise yet profound teaching, Master Woo Myung reveals the ultimate paradox of Truth:
when the self is completely gone, existence and non-existence are not two separate states — they are one and the same.
This is the final realization of enlightenment,
where “nimitta” (form) and “animitta” (formless) are united,
and all distinctions between inside and outside dissolve into pure openness.
When all boundaries vanish,
what remains is the eternal Truth that neither lives nor dies,
for it is non-existent yet perfectly alive. 🌌
📜 ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Existence and Non-Existence
Now that I am no longer of my self,
now that I have abandoned my self,
now that I have eliminated the one I call my self,
I am non-existent.
So no matter how many times I die,
no matter how many times I am eliminated,
I am Truth.
To be Truth means
that nimitta and animitta are one,
that existence is non-existence,
that non-existence is existence;
that what is inside and what is outside
are open and connected through and through.

🌠 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this realization marks the culmination of the Way —
the moment when the self disappears completely and only the emptiness of Truth remains. 🌙
In this state, there is no longer an “I” that lives or dies,
for life and death, existence and non-existence, are one.
This is the purest state of consciousness:
a boundless openness where nothing is separate,
and everything is interconnected through and through.
It is not annihilation —
it is perfection beyond opposites:
the harmony of Being and Nothingness,
the eternal balance that is Truth itself. 🌿
