πŸ’‘ INTRODUCTION

What does it mean to be non-existent, yet fully alive as Truth?

In this succinct yet powerful teaching, Master Woo Myung expresses the ultimate spiritual paradox: when the self is completely gone, what remains is Truth. And Truth is beyond death, beyond dualityβ€”it is the state where existence and non-existence are one.

πŸŒ€ When there is no longer β€œI,” when even the idea of self has been eliminated, there is no more separation between inside and outside, form and formlessness, birth and death.

🌿 Nimitta and animittaβ€”form and no-formβ€”are one. The open, boundless connection of all things becomes clear when one becomes non-existent, and thus, Truth.

This is the essence of spiritual completionβ€”to become eternal by becoming nothing.

Existence and Non-Existence

Now that I am no longer of my self,
now that I have abandoned my self,
now that I have eliminated the one I call my self,
I am non-existent.
So no matter how many times I die,
no matter how many times I am eliminated,
I am Truth.

To be Truth means
that nimitta and animitta are one,
that existence is non-existence,
that non-existence is existence;
that what is inside and what is outside
are open and connected through and through.
