🌟 INTRODUCTION

✨ In this contemplative poem, Master Woo Myung unveils the profound Truth that the elixir of life—the eternal life sought by Emperor Qin—cannot be found in the material world.

Life and death unfold according to the universal order of nature. All things exist within Truth, and to seek eternity outside of it is to remain lost in illusion. When one realizes that everything simply exists as it is, one transcends sorrow, judgment, and attachment, living quietly as Truth itself. 🌌

Elixir of Life

The elixir of life sought by Emperor Qin,
does not exist in the world.
He tried to find it because he did not know
the universal order of nature –
all of nature is as it is.
All things have life spans based on their conditions,
and through these conditions they come into the world,
and through them, they leave it.
Conditions are the circumstances of its life span.
He who is in his thoughts, he who sorrowfully cries –
all of them just exist, within Truth.

Even if the mountains and rivers,
the fields and trees change,
or even if one has sold out his time,
everything is Truth that simply just exists,
but people judge this.
In lonely solitude, I alone live as Truth,
and people are ignorant of my will
and live in their falseness;
I come and go silently,
but their sighs are long and deep
because they do not know my will.

🌠 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, seekers discover that immortality does not lie in the physical body but in the Mind of Truth. When one transcends the human mind and lives as the Universe itself, one attains the true elixir of life—eternal existence in the Land of Truth. 🌈

All things come and go, yet Truth alone remains. To live as Truth is to drink the eternal elixir that Emperor Qin could never find.
