πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ In this insightful teaching, Master Woo Myung addresses a question every parent asks: How should we educate our children?

According to Master Woo Myung, true education is not merely academic achievement or competitive advantage. The best education is teaching children how to eliminate their selves. If this seems difficult, then teach them sacrifice, for sacrifice is the seed of true success. 🌿

✨ Success rooted in selfish gain is temporary. Success rooted in sacrifice grows into something enduring and limitless.

How should we educate our children?

The best way to raise our children is to teach them how to eliminate their selves. If this is difficult to teach, you should teach sacrifice to children. It is the way to success.

People try to reap a harvest without sowing seeds, but for such people their harvest will be one of weeds. Sacrifice is the true seed. The bigger the sacrifice, the better the seed it becomes. There is no way to grow a true plant unless you plant a true seed. If you teach your children to act only for their own benefit and to use their shallow cunning, rather than becoming a big tree they will become weak plants that are likely to die. They will not be able to grow properly and they will have many limitations.

Only when a person sacrifices with a truthful mind, can he gather other people’s strength and become a big tree. Living this way is Truth but people live imprisoned by their small selves, which have deviated from their original mind. Sacrifice is the greatest driving force for one’s life in society. It is the shortcut to success and it raises people’s possibilities to infinity.

🌠 Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation

At Santa Clara Meditation, education is understood as character formation, not competition. 🌿

Teaching children to sacrifice does not weaken themβ€”it strengthens them. When children learn to live beyond their small selves, they grow into people who can unite others, inspire trust, and succeed without limitation.

True education plants true seeds.
True seeds grow into enduring trees.
