๐ก INTRODUCTION
So many people spend their entire lives in pursuit of material comfortโgood food, fine clothes, long life, and financial security. But as Master Woo Myung reminds us, the body is fleetingโit rots, decays, and returns to soil.
๐ True wisdom is not found in pampering the flesh but in accumulating eternal treasuresโbecoming Truth itself and living in the kingdom of Truth while alive.
In this powerful writing, Master Woo Myung echoes the wisdom of scriptures:
๐ฟ โDo not store up treasures on earth, but in heaven.โ
Let us now discover what it means to live for the forever-living self, not for a body that perishes.

๐ ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Do Not Be Loyal to Your Body Which Will Rot Away
In order to be happy, people want to be comfortable, eat well, live affluently, and have long lives without illness. They want their children to be successful and take care of them when they become old, ill, or when they are dying. They want to spare their bodies, avoiding difficult work or work that others do not want to do. Not long ago it was difficult to live past sixty, but our lifestyles have improved and it is common to live beyond seventy or even eighty years. But even that is a short time and people still just live fruitlessly, only for their body. But no matter who you are, your body will eventually die, rot, and become soil.
The wisest way to live is to be reborn with the body and mind of Truth now, and live in the kingdom of Truth. In the Bible, it says that the foolish accumulate treasures on the earth and the wise accumulate treasures in heaven. To live in heaven is to live in the kingdom of Truth by being reborn as the body and mind of Truth. There is nothing more precious than accumulating your treasures in the kingdom of Truth within yourself and they are yours forever. Rather than seeking good clothes, good food, and comfort for the false body, the wise will become Truth and accumulate their treasures by working in the kingdom of Truth. Do not build your own kingdom for a false body that will die and rot away. Even if we were to live only for a day, let us instead devote our bodies and accumulate blessings in the kingdom of Truth, our minds.
People in the past spoke about lifeโs futility. They recited words and poems and they have all passed away. Likewise, we too will pass on after seventy or eighty years. In order to go to the forever-living land, one must have his blessings in the true land. Only then he can live eternally there with his blessings.
