INTRODUCTION

โœจ In this illuminating teaching, Master Woo Myung explains what it truly means to โ€œdieโ€ while still living. ๐ŸŒฟ

Most people think death occurs only when the body stops functioning, but Master Woo Myung reveals that real death is the disappearance of oneโ€™s false selfโ€”the dreamlike mind world of karma and habits. Only when this false self dies while the body is still alive can one return to the origin, the Universe itself, and be reborn as Truth. ๐ŸŒŒ

This is the path to human completion, where oneโ€™s sins and karma are cleansed, and one lives as the Universe, God, or Buddhaโ€”free from death.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

How Can You Die While Living Without Your Body Dying?

The Universe that is devoid of any material things existed before you were born and it exists whether you are born or not. Having forsaken this existence – the Universe, which is your origin and master – you are living in your own mind world that is not the mind of this existence and your whole life is the life of a dream. If you throw away the life lived in a dream and yourself inside the dream, then you will disappear – this is death. Death is when you are gone and only the origin remains. Death is the disappearance of manโ€™s self and his sins and karma, thereby allowing him to return to the origin while he is living.

One can die completely only when the body is living; if the body dies then he really dies. Therefore, one must die and be reborn while he is alive. Death means oneโ€™s false self does not exist. If one truly dies, then he goes to the place of Truth and is reborn. He accomplishes human completion and becomes God. Oneโ€™s body and mind can die completely only when he is alive.
