INTRODUCTION

🌿 Master Woo Myung reveals that demons are not mystical beings of folklore β€”
they are the self-centered minds within humans that stand against Truth.

A demon (Mara) is one who lives for his own self, unaware that his greed, blame, and hypocrisy harm others.
Until one becomes Truth, he remains bound to this false mind β€” and therefore is still a demon.

✨ To be free from Mara is not to fight evil outside oneself,
but to discard the false self within and be reborn as Truth.
Only then can one live with the mind of nature, the original Heaven that is pure and without self. 🌌

Demons or Mara

A demon is a person who has turned against Truth.

Even in heaven, there were demons that were not complete Truth.
Our original mind is heaven but in the sunchun age – which literally means the age before heaven, or the age before Truth comes to the world – there were demons who lived only for themselves in that original mind.
Status and differences in rank existed because of these demons.

The word demon is used to denote an evil existence.
No one in the world wishes to meet a demon; on the contrary, most people are scared of demons.
But what people believe to be demons do not actually exist in the current world.
People should realize that a person who has not become Truth is a demon.

Very few people in the world believe they have lived wrongly; most people blame the world and other people.
In actuality, nothing is the fault of other people or the world – everything is one’s own fault because he is living wrongly.
Those who know this are wise.

The worst person in the world is one’s own self, who lives with the worst kind of mind – a self-centered mind.
This mind leads him to believe others are right only when they behave in a way that suits him.
This belief hurts everybody around him.

In other words, even though we are not aware of it, we cause harm to people because we behave in a delusional way.
One’s greed, his selfish mind, is the demon.
No righteous person exists in the world; therefore all people in the world are demons.

A person who has become one with Truth lives with the mind of nature, according to the laws of nature.
Therefore he is able to live a life of nature’s flow.
Demons are all those who live with a selfish perspective because of their minds of pictures acquired from living in the world.
Only a person who has been born as Truth is not a demon.
The only sin that exists in the world is the sin of not becoming Truth.

If we knew that we were grotesque demons, we would not be able to hold our heads up for shame.
We should all realize that a person who has not become Truth is a demon.
We should be resurrected as Truth as quickly as we can, and cast off our demon masks.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

πŸ”₯ The demon is not outside β€” it is the false self that clings to its own desires.
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners learn to see their own minds clearly
and discard the false pictures that give rise to greed, blame, and suffering.

When the self-centered mind disappears, one lives with the mind of the Universe β€”
free from delusion, reborn as Truth.
This is how one transcends Mara and returns to Heaven within. β˜€οΈ
