INTRODUCTION
🌌 In this writing, Master Woo Myung explains that what we often call intelligence or cleverness is actually cunning formed from habits and experiences.
This teaching reveals that the mind filled with such cunning becomes shackled to falseness, unable to see reality, and that this very cleverness is what destroys true wisdom. 🌿
Master Woo Myung clarifies that real wisdom is born only from non-existence of the mind, when one is completely free from habits and can finally see everything as it is. ✨
📖 ORIGINAL WRITING BY Master Woo Myung
Cunning
The old cat is resting near the stove,
for it is cunning.
Its cunning is
the habits it has gained from its experiences.
Even when it comes to humans,
the countless things one has in his mind
are all born of his cunning.
This cunning of the mind destroys a person.
It destroys him because
it means that he does not know what is real;
he is shackled to the falseness he has,
thus preventing him to see reality
and adding to his habits;
such is man.
This is why, for man, wisdom is born of non-existence,
and why he will only be able to see everything
when he is completely absent of mind.

🌿 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners reflect on how habit-driven cunning blinds the mind, learning that only by becoming absent of the false mind can true wisdom and clear seeing arise. 🌠
