The Most Important Thing in the World Is to Come Out of One’s Tomb and Live in the Land of Light
Do you know why you live,
or what is it to live a true life?
Do you know why you were born,
or what is the true purpose of human creation?
Do you know what you live for,
or what is the true purpose of life?
People have no answers and they just live in vain.
They live only for their bodies, for good food and good clothes.
All they know is a life in which the body is everything,
where they live only for themselves
not knowing that they are trapped in the tomb they have dug.
They do not know the world outside the tomb;
the land of light,
of freedom,
of Truth; the living land.
They do not know the land outside where there is no death.
They cannot see, hear, or have that land; this itself is death.
How can a dead person know whether he is alive or dead?
Only a living person knows who is dead,
and only a living person knows who is alive.
The most urgent thing in the world is
to come out of one’s tomb
instead of living trapped inside it.
This world is a tomb; people who are trapped in this tomb
do not know their world is a tomb.
This world is the world of hell,
but they do not know they are in hell;
how, then, can they know the world of Truth
when they do not know Truth?
People insist that they know something,
but they only know what they have experienced.
They do not know the true land of Truth
because they do not have it in their minds.
In the hell world,
they are busy doing useless, unnecessary things;
they think that is all there is.
Though they busily scurry about within the false world,
there is nowhere to go and
nothing to gain or accomplish; it is all useless.
In their delusional false worlds,
people hold on to false things
thinking they have something.
Thus their lives are without purpose or meaning.
With only one chance at life,
it is so sorrowful and pointless
for humans to be born in this world
if this world is all there is.
The most urgent thing is
to come out of one’s tomb, the false world,
and to live forever without anxiety or worry
in the living land, the land of eternal Truth,
and the land of bright light.
Even though you have no place to go,
even though you have nothing to be busy about,
why are you unable to go
to the place you must truly go to?
One should be alive while living and
go to the living kingdom while alive.
The ultimate purpose of man is to live;
he who does the work of the living kingdom
is an enlightened person
who knows all and has accomplished all.
One must accumulate his own blessings in that world
where he will live forever with those blessings
because they are his; such a person is the most extraordinary
and the wisest in the world.
But the dead continue to build their tombs, their dead land.
