💡 INTRODUCTION

Clouds drift across the sky—appearing, changing, and disappearing.
According to Master Woo Myung, our lives and attachments are often like those clouds: temporary, ever-changing, and yet we mistake them for who we are.

🌤 When we are attached to the “clouds” of thoughts, emotions, and identities, we cannot see the clear sky that remains after they pass.
True freedom comes when we let go of these attachments and realize that we are not the clouds—we are the boundless sky beyond them.

📝 ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Clouds

In the far distance, puffy white clouds
are drifting by.
Clouds pass,
and it is me that watches them.

I simply watch,
unknowing of whether or not the clouds are Truth.

When the drifting clouds have disappeared,
the sky remains;
the clouds have vanished
and are nowhere to be seen.

I lived attached to the clouds;
thinking back, I was a cloud.
But the clouds are now
no longer clouds.
