INTRODUCTION

🌟 In this powerful teaching, Master Woo Myung describes the deep struggle of chasing out demonsβ€”the false manifestations of one’s own mind. When these inner demons are expelled, one’s mind unites with God and the world of oneness is restored.

Yet even after the demons depart, traces remainβ€”the β€œghost-house” they once occupied. Within it, countless β€œinsects” arise, symbolizing the lingering delusional thoughts and images. Only through constant diligence and meditation can one catch all these insects and become a divine being, one with Truth and the Universe. 🌿

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Chasing Out Demons

A person who chases out demons weeps tears of blood.
Demons are manifestations of the mind one has.
When one’s demons depart, he unites with God
and the world of oneness exists in his mind.

When the demons have been chased out,
the ghost-house in which the demons lived
remains in his body.
Because they lived there for so long
there are countless insects,
and many different varieties of them too β€”
the insects are the source of his delusional thoughts
and images.

Diligently catch all the insects,
and become a divine being.
