INTRODUCTION
In this profound and poetic teaching, Master Woo Myung explains what it truly means to be born in Heaven.
Heaven is not a place one goes after death, but a state one enters while alive, by having Heaven within oneself.
A person born in Heaven is one whose self has completely disappeared, allowing him to become one with the Creatorβthe eternal, never-dying Truth. π
Such a person lives in the Land of the Creator, where the individual and the Whole are one, and where the Creatorβs empty, omnipotent, omniscient mind brings forth all things.
The teaching also reveals what it means to amass blessings in Heaven, as spoken of in the Bible: the wise gather treasures in the eternal world, while the foolish pursue temporary earthly gains. πΏ
True power, Jesus taught, is created in Heavenβand becomes oneβs own only when accumulated in that eternal Land.

A Person Who Is Born in Heaven Lives a Heavenly Life
A person is in Heaven when
he has come to have Heaven in him
while he is alive.
A person who is born in Heaven
is a person who is one with the Creator.
He is a person whose self no longer exists
and is one with the Creator.
The Land of the Creator is the one Land
and the Land of Truth.
It is where the individual and the Whole are one.
It is where the Whole resides in the individual
and the individual resides in the Whole.
It is the place where
only those who have become the Creator may live.
It is the place where the Creator is alive,
which is why the Land of the Creator is
eternal and never-dying.
It is the Land where those with the widest minds live.
The Mind of the Creator is one that is completely empty,
yet it is both omniscient and omnipotent,
allowing it to bring forth all things.
The Creator is alive,
which is why He is able to give life to every human being.
The place where the Creator lives is Heaven,
and this Heaven is the forever-living Land.
It says in the Bible that
those born on the earth live on the earth,
while those born in Heaven live in Heaven.
Those born in Heaven must amass their blessings in Heaven,
for there is no meaning or worth in
the fortunes amassed in this world.
When they amass their blessings in Heaven β
in the forever-living Land β
then those blessings will be theirs for all eternity.
The living amass their fortunes in Heaven,
while the dead amass them on the earth.
In other words,
the wise accumulate their treasures in Heaven,
while the foolish accumulate their treasures on earth,
just as the Bible reads.
When one amasses his blessings in Heaven,
they will forever be his,
and with them he will live.
Through those blessings, he will come to have what is his.
In the Bible, Jesus said to his disciples
that he would give them the keys to Heaven
and that with them, the power of Heaven would be theirs.
What Jesus meant was that
they must make in Heaven
what is theirs.
Man usually thinks that
power is a thing with which he rules over others.
Power is, however, something he must amass,
and only then would it be his β
only then would it become his own.
