INTRODUCTION
✨ In this clear and direct teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the true meaning behind the words “Blessed are the poor in spirit” and “Blessed are the poor in heart.” 🌿 Poverty of spirit does not mean lack, but emptiness—a mind cleansed of false images, thoughts, and attachments.
Master Woo Myung teaches that only when the mind is cleansed can one enter Heaven and see God within. 🌌 Just as a mirror must be cleaned to reflect one’s face, the mind must be purified to reveal Truth. Seeing God is not symbolic; it requires reaching the place where God exists—through repentance and complete cleansing of the mind.
This writing reveals that repentance is not guilt, but the process of returning to Truth, and that it is the only way to truly see God and live in the Kingdom of Heaven. 🌠
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
‘Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit, for Theirs Is the Kingdom of Heaven’,
and ‘Blessed Are the Poor in Heart, for They Will See God’
When a person has cleansed his mind, everything in it disappears,
and so he can be born into Heaven.
When his mind is pure, he can see God within him
just as a person would be able to see himself clearly
in a dirty mirror only after cleaning it.
To see the existence of God would take for one
to reach the place of God’s existence,
just as it would take for one to go to Seoul
in order to see Seoul.
The best way to see God and enter Heaven –
in fact, the only way –
is through repentance,
and thus through cleansing one’s mind.
