Introduction
✨ In this powerful teaching, Master Woo Myung speaks about the difference between living in the world of Truth and living within the illusion created by the human mind. He describes how people often believe they understand reality, yet they are actually trapped inside a world constructed from their own thoughts and perceptions.
According to Master Woo Myung, when the mind is filled with falseness, people become unable to recognize what is truly correct. This creates confusion, division, and countless interpretations of truth across philosophies and religions. 🌌
This teaching calls for a deeper transformation — becoming a true person. A true person is someone whose mind has become one with the world itself, living in harmony with Truth rather than within illusions created by the self.
Through this message, Master Woo Myung emphasizes that when individuals discard the false self and awaken to Truth, humanity can move toward a world where people live together in peace, harmony, and true understanding. 🌿

Let’s Become True People
The wanderer is silent.
The insane have taken land that does not belong to them,
and have split it up amongst themselves,
but the wanderer is silent;
he does not say anything because he is magnanimous.
Believing that they live in the world because of their own greatness,
and living according to their own will,
the insane cannot hear the words of the wanderer.
It is an insane world that only has insane people in it,
and although a person of the true world has come to his own world,
he has nowhere to dwell or rest because they strongly believe that it is their world.
The world belongs to the wanderer,
but the insane have made it theirs.
The true master has become a wanderer,
and insane ghosts, that are nameless and non-existent in the world,
have gathered and live by their self-made rules and regulations.
What the saints told us of Truth,
insane ghosts have explained and interpreted in their own way,
however they pleased.
Thus one book that has one message,
has tens of thousands of different interpretations,
splitting religions into tens of thousands of different sects and denominations.
Which of the insane ghosts’ religions is the right one?
Isn’t someone who claims something is right
when it is completely wrong, a person who is insane?
To be right is to be proper,
and to be proper is to be correct,
and to be correct is Truth.
What has not become Truth is not right.
Insane ghosts must treat their insanity,
and become a correct and true person.
An insane ghost who does not know he is insane,
believes he is right and correct,
and the problem is, that is all he knows.
This is because this is how big his “plate”- his mind – is
and that is all it holds.
An insane ghost is an illusion that does not exist in the world,
because he has falseness, not Truth, in his mind,
and he lives within the world of this mind.
He jabbers on about illusions, so he is insane and a ghost.
In the world, what is actually right is a person who lives in the world,
a person who has been born again with the body and mind of the world.
Such a person is right, proper and correct.
This world itself is completely correct and proper,
but only man is not so.
Man is in a world that does not exist in the world,
a world made by taking pictures of the world.
If man, the insane ghost, knew this, he would weep.
It is possible for the insane ghost to know this,
when he eliminates his self that is the insane ghost,
and he is born as a true person.
If this happens, there will be no wanderers in the world,
and everyone will become masters.
In the world of insane ghosts, in the world where they live,
the true person is regarded as being wrong.
To them, he will be thought of as being a heretic and a cult figure.
But if people truly think that they are right,
they must ask themselves, whether or not they have become Truth.
It may then be possible for them to realize the Truth.
I came to the world, having become the master of the world,
and I have found that all people are insane ghosts.
Treating this mental illness is the most urgent thing to be done.
An insane ghost must be coaxed, soothed, humored and praised,
before it can be asked to discard its insane mind,
because an insane ghost’s mind is fickle and changes by the minute.
It is harder than babysitting a child.
Insane ghosts speak and behave according
to whatever they have put inside their minds;
they are all mad, and only the doctor that has come to treat them is in his right mind,
so it is no easy feat for the doctor to come to their world
and give them new birth with true minds.
Ghosts are only happy when they are praised;
if they are told that someone other than they are right or great,
they do not believe it.
But even in the world of insane ghosts,
the people who longed for stories of the true world are a little easier to handle,
as are those who have lost the many possessions they had.
When this loss eventually leads them to Truth,
they are overjoyed and count their earlier losses as true blessings.
An insane ghost will die eventually, at some point in time,
leaving behind all he has and everything that belongs to him.
Where must one go and where must one live?
Only he who has become real will know.
All those who live bound to the futile affairs
of human life must all be reborn as real people,
so that we can make this world a paradise, a nation for all people;
a place where our descendants can sleep without worrying;
and a world where everyone can live with joy.
We must build a world where a real person, the master of the world, can rest,
a world where everyone can live in togetherness.
Only when all people chase out the insane ghosts,
and are born as true people, can this end be achieved.

🌿 Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners explore teachings from Master Woo Myung that encourage individuals to look beyond the illusions created by the human mind.
Through meditation and self-reflection, people begin to recognize how attachment to personal thoughts, beliefs, and identities can create a false world within the mind.
🌠 By discarding the false self and awakening to Truth, individuals can begin to live as true people, aligned with the world itself. When more people reach this realization, humanity can move toward the vision described in this teaching — a world of peace, unity, and true understanding.
