✨ INTRODUCTION

In this short yet powerful meditation poem, Master Woo Myung invites us to reflect on the nature of existence and departure.

Is there truly anywhere to go?
Is there truly anything to gain?

When one becomes nature itself, there is nowhere to leave and nothing to seek. There is only staying β€” as what already is.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Become Nature and Stay

Will you go,
or will you stay?
There is nothing to have in this universe.
There is nothing to take from this universe.

Will you go,
or will you stay?
If you stay, everything exists as is.
Is it not better to just stay
rather than depart without a place to go?
Just become nature and stay.

– Woo Myung

πŸŒ„ REFLECTION AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

To β€œstay” does not mean to remain physically in one place.
It means to stop departing into thoughts, desires, and attachments.

When the self disappears, there is no one who leaves and no place to go.
Everything simply exists as it is.

To become nature is to live without grasping.
To stay is to rest in the origin.
