INTRODUCTION
β¨ In Attachment, Master Woo Myung reveals why human beings suffer and remain lost despite living their lives earnestly. People move through time without knowing their true purpose, and no one in the world seems able to provide a clear answer. π
πΏ He teaches that the root of this confusion is attachmentβnot to things outside, but to the mind one carries within. This mind desires, clings, and tries to hold onto life, even though oneβs true foundation is non-existent. π
A life of Truth, he explains, is a life free from all attachment. When the mind that clings disappears, one can live freely, understanding the fleeting nature of human life and no longer being bound by it. β¨
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Attachment
Human life is
the life man lives.
Man lives following the passage of time
ignorant of his purpose.
But there is no one in this world
who is able to give him an answer.
Listen!
Commit yourselves to the work of this world
without any attachments.
Human life will pass one way or another,
so let go of all of the attachments that you have
and live.
Attachments are what you have
in the mind you possess.
Your foundation is non-existent,
but the mind you possess desires to live life,
and it is this mind that has become your attachment.
What you must all realize is that
a life of Truth is a life free of everything.
Human life is fleeting,
but man does not know this;
instead he is lost in his mind,
only to die due to that attachment.

πΏ REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this teaching is practiced as the art of letting go. By discarding the mind that clings to life and desires, practitioners awaken to a life of Truthβfree, unburdened, and clearβexactly as taught by Master Woo Myung. π
