INTRODUCTION
π In this profound poem, Master Woo Myung reveals that what we call human life does not truly exist on its own β it is something man creates through karma and self-made turmoil. Though he believes he is living, he is bound by the illusions of his own mind, which cause him pain, aging, and death.
Yet now, a new era has come β the age of man, when Heaven and man are one. This is the time when Heavenβs Mind, which had long been beyond reach, can finally be realized within the human mind. When Heaven resides within manβs will, the two are no longer separate: Heaven is man, and man is Heaven. πΏ
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The Age of Man
Human life does not actually exist,
but man creates it by living.
His life is the karma he has created.
And because he takes on his life,
his mind is constantly in turmoil
as he grows old and dies.
But man lives with his human mind and is hurt by it.
Heavenβs Mind is one that is non-existent.
There had been no way of conveying Heavenβs will,
but even though the time has come to convey it,
even though the age of man has come,
man lives not knowing this will.
Heaven is man,
and man is Heaven.
The days in which Heaven resides in the will of man is
the age of man.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, this poem represents the awakening of a new consciousness β the age when Heavenβs Mind can be realized within humankind. π
Through meditation, one sees that the human mind creates both suffering and illusion. But when that mind is cleansed, and the mind of Heaven fills oneβs being, man becomes Heaven itself.
This is not a distant dream β it is the present age, the Age of Man, when humanity can finally live according to Heavenβs will, in oneness and peace.
