INTRODUCTION
âš In this reflective writing, Master Woo Myung shares the meaning of selfâdiscovery. Many speak of finding the self, but few know what it truly means. đż
Walking the path of DĆ (Truth) is the true Way, and real selfâdiscovery is none other than finding who you truly are. This realization, simple yet profound, is what monks and seekers throughout history have long pursued. đ
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
SelfâDiscovery
I knew not what âdĆ (Truth)â was,
but upon walking its path,
I am now on the true Way.
What is the true Way?
It is Truth.
It is what every Buddhist monk
has agonized over â
the discovery of self.
People say that we must all discover our selves,
but what is real self-discovery?
I see that it is none other than finding who you are.
I must teach people that they do not know this.
Though I am at my leisure,
just humming a tune without a word or a worry,
such is my concern of concerns.
â Woo Myung
