INTRODUCTION
✨ In this teaching, Master Woo Myung reveals that what people often call happiness—such as promotions, recognition, or achievements—is only temporary joy. 🌿 These moments pass quickly and cannot be considered true happiness.
True happiness arises only when one lives with the mind of Truth. This mind is free from possessions, burdens, stress, and suffering. It is a state of freedom, liberation, and nirvana—a happiness that does not depend on conditions and lasts forever. 🌌
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
What Is True Happiness?
People say they are happiest when they get others’ approval or they get a promotion, become a manager, etc. However, that is just one achievement in life. People say that being satisfied with such achievements is the ultimate happiness, but that is something that happens in the process of life.
When something that they wish for comes true, people feel ecstatic in their minds and live thinking that this is what happiness is. However, this joy lasts only for that moment and it is not true happiness.
True happiness is when you live with the mind of Truth—then you are the one who is truly happy. That mind is the mind that does not have anything at all. It is the mind of freedom and liberation that is free from possession or happiness.
It has no concerns, worries, stress, suffering, or burden. It is true happiness itself because it has become liberated. You always have a happy mind because you do not dwell within the mind; although the mind exists, you are free from it. You are always free and have reached nirvana. It is happiness beyond happiness, which does not possess anything.

REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners learn to discard the false mind and experience the freedom of the true mind. 🌿 This path leads to happiness beyond conditions, where liberation and nirvana are no longer abstract concepts but lived realities.
