💡 INTRODUCTION

Who is the drifter?

According to Master Woo Myung, the drifter is not just a physical wanderer—it is the mental state of modern man.
A drifter has no home, not because of lack of shelter, but because of the absence of true Mind.

🌫️ The drifter is burdened by thoughts, regrets, sadness, and a mind that is outside of the original Mind.
He blames others, blames time, and doesn’t know where to go—because he harbors the self.

This piece is a stark, poetic description of what it means to live unawakened and detached from Truth—a call to return home to the real Mind.

Drifter

A drifter has no home.
A drifter has no wants.
A drifter is man.
A drifter’s mind is nervous.
A drifter is lonely.
A drifter is one who has many thoughts.
A drifter is one who has a mind that is outside of the Mind.
A drifter is one who has a thought-mass.
A drifter blames time.
A drifter harbors deep resentment.
A drifter harbors sorrow.
A drifter harbors sadness.
A drifter harbors his self.
A drifter gets drunk.
A drifter does not know where to go.
A drifter blames others.
A drifter is one with agony.
A drifter is one who does not know the logic of the Universe.
A drifter ages, dies, is born, and is young.
To live bound to all of these things is the drifter’s lot.
