What determines whether someone is good or evil? In this brief yet insightful passage, Master Woo Myung explains that good and evil are not determined by social or moral norms—but by whether one has become Truth or still lives in falseness.

In the Bible, Adam and Eve’s act was symbolic of creating self-centered standards. Only one who has become Truth is good. Only one who remains false is evil.

Good and Evil
In the Bible, it says that Adam and Eve became sinners from the moment they ate the fruit of good and evil.
What man believes to be good and evil are self-made human conceptions. True good and evil is determined by whether one has become Truth.
A person of Truth is a true person; therefore he is “good”.
A person of falseness is a false person; and therefore he is “evil”.
