Why do we all see the world so differently?
In this short but profound message, Master Woo Myung explains that the “mind of man” is not the True Self—it is a mind created by attachments and life experiences.
This self-centered perspective is false, and only by letting go of it can one return to the True Mind that is eternal and unchanging.

Mind of Man
The mind differs depending on the person.
Man’s mind is formed out of the experiences of his life;
it is formed out of his environment.
The lives people live are different depending on the person.
Therefore, it is out of one’s attachment-filled mind
that one’s self is created;
thus he lives with a self-centered mind.
People have different opinions and different thoughts
because they have different perspectives.
In other words, he has inside him
not the True Self, but his false self,
and with it he lives discerning what is what.
There is no trueness in this
and so if he were to eliminate it along with his self,
then the true Mind that has always existed will remain.
