💡 INTRODUCTION

Master Woo Myung contrasts the infinite, eternal reality of Heaven—our true original nature—with the chaotic illusions created by the human mind. While true Heaven simply exists perfectly as it is, humanity lives bound to the heavy karma of its own self-centered thoughts, unaware that the whole of creation is already Heaven.

📖 EXCERPT BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

“What exists beyond the blue sky? There is the endless sky – the source that is man’s true nature which has no end. […]

Heaven simply exists as it is without having been born and without ever dying. But man is the one who creates all sorts of things with which he thinks and lives according to what he sees. Man lives not knowing that doing so is his karma.”

🌱 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, we often see people searching for peace while constantly getting lost in their own thoughts and fantasies—much like looking at patches of clouds and projecting our own complicated stories onto them. Master Woo Myung explains that this endless mental turmoil is exactly what keeps us bound and suffering. Because we live entirely within a mind constructed of accumulated karma, inherited habits, and the continuous judgments of our false self, we fail to realize that the endless sky of our true nature is already here. We do not see that the world itself is already Heaven because we are blinded by our own mental creations.

Through our step-by-step subtraction method, you are given the exact, practical tool to clear away these mental clouds. By systematically discarding your accumulated karma, ingrained habits, and the heavy burden of the false ego, you stop creating the inner turmoil that binds you. As this illusionary self is completely eliminated, the endless, unchanging sky of your true original nature naturally remains. Awakened to this True Mind, you break free from your self-made karma and finally experience the eternal reality of Heaven in every moment.
