What is an image?
And how does it define the way we live, think, and even limit ourselves?
Master Woo Myung teaches that perfection is not in form but in the non-existent—beyond images and individual thoughts.
Though things appear to exist, they are non-existent in Truth.
Only when man transcends the image can he find the foundation, the state of perfect emptiness.

When man has nothing,
he is perfect.
Perfection is the non-existence of all things.
Even though all sorts of creations and matters exist,
they are also non-existent.
The non-existent state exists of itself,
but that it exists of itself does not mean
it is existent.
The whole of this universe is Truth when
it is not an image,
for Truth is the foundation
and the absence of individual thought.
The individual exists of itself,
yet it is the representation of perfection.
Perfection is the product of image.
Man cannot fly in the sky
because he is of his human image.
All creations are of their respective images—
man’s mind resides in his image,
while the minds of all things reside in theirs.
