In this insightful teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that what most people think they know is simply self-centered knowledgeβinformation collected through seeing, hearing, and learning, stored within the boundaries of the false self.
π That is why, among six billion people, there are six billion different mindsβeach one shaped by its own subjective experiences. But when asked why we live or where we go after death, few have a real answer. They only repeat what theyβve learned, not what they truly know.
π« According to Master Woo Myung, we live in order to live forever, and those who achieve this while alive enter the kingdom of Truthβthe living world. To reach that state, one must empty the mind, throw away the self, and become one with Truth.
ποΈ Only then can a person truly know everything, become alive, and begin to save others while accumulating blessings in the kingdom of the living. This is the path of real wisdom, born from Godβs consciousness, not the false knowledge stored in the human mind.
What People Know
What people claim to know is what they have selfishly stored in their minds from learning, seeing, and hearing in their self-centered world. It is merely their subjective, self-centered knowledge. This is the reason that in a world of six billion people there are six billion different minds.
Ask people why we live and where we go; they will not have a definite answer but will only say what they have learned. Why do we live and where do we go? Those are the questions everyone is curious about, but no one knows the correct answers. The reason man lives is to live forever, and those who live forever while living will go to the living world, which is the kingdom of Truth.
People know what they have stored in their minds. When one has nothing in his mind and has thrown away his body containing that mind, then Truth is revealed. Only then will he truly know everything. That is to be reborn in the kingdom of Truth and live there. One who knows everything is one who has become alive; he works in the kingdom of the living, saves the dead, and accumulates his blessings there. Humans do not know the nature of Truth because they do not have wisdom, Godβs consciousness, within their self-centered mind. That is why no one has wisdom.
