šŸ•Šļø In today’s modern civilization, humanity has made tremendous progress outwardly, yet grown distant from the eternal Land of Truth. According to Master Woo Myung, mankind’s salvation lies not in science or intellect but in repentance—true repentance that completely eliminates the self.

🌌 All creations are alive because they have no sense of self. But man lives with a self-centered mind, and thus, is dead inside. When one acknowledges one’s own wrongdoings, repents completely, and discards all karma, only then can one be reborn in the eternal living Land of the Universe—Paradise, Heaven, Nirvana.

šŸ’« This is not metaphorical. Salvation is real when we abandon our burdens and become one with the world. When man lives with true life, in alignment with the will of God, Buddha, and the Universe, he becomes whole, and his life becomes filled with joy and freedom from suffering.

šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø As Master Woo Myung writes: ā€œMankind’s salvation is his repentance.ā€ It is not a concept but a living reality within those who let go of their self and live for the eternal Land of Truth.

Mankind’s Salvation

Civilization has reached great heights,
but mankind has managed to grow further away from
the eternal and never-dying Land that is true Paradise.
This is because his consciousness has become blinded by
his delusions and is thus not Truth
and because it does not agree with
the will of God and Buddha, who are Truth.

All creations are alive
because they do not have a sense of self.
Man does, however,
and therefore is dead.
Mankind’s salvation lays in his acknowledgement
that all wrong-doings and offenses are his own
and also repenting for them.
True repentance is the act of
completely eliminating one’s self.
It is one’s self who is the sinner.
And it is when one becomes totally free of
one’s sins and karma
that he will gain salvation.
Mankind’s salvation is his repentance.
Anyone who repents will be able to be reborn in
the living Land of this Universe.

Man lives with heavy burdens and pain because
he lives his life without knowing why
and because he does not know
where he is headed.
If he were to live knowing where to go,
if he were to live in that Land he must reach
doing the work of that eternal Land,
he would be joyful.
Because all are one,
man will live with man
with a true life.
For sure, man’s repentance for his sins
and his subsequent completion is
his salvation.
