โจ Introduction
๐ท In this powerful and symbolic teaching, Master Woo Myung reveals the profound difference between those who truly live in the world and those who exist only within an illusionary mind world.
He describes human beings as trapped in a ghost world of pictures, mistaking illusion for reality. Only by discarding this false world can one return to the true world of existence and eternal life. ๐
This message emphasizes that Truth cannot be possessed, only realizedโby letting go of everything that is not real. ๐ฅ

A Person of the World Who Has Come to the Ghost World to Hunt Ghosts
Heaven and earth is life itself,
but there is no one who sees heaven and earth that is life,
nor is there anyone who knows what it is.
Everyone is trapped inside his own mind,
his mind that is not heaven and earth;
and he may be groaning with pain, but he is already dead.
He is in a world that does not exist,
a world of illusion.
God and man are one,
but God lives in the world,
whereas man is trapped in a picture and is dead.
So the difference between God and ghosts –
both much discussed topics –
is that of existence and non-existence.
In other words, a ghost that lives in the non-existing world
does not exist
but living within its ghost world, it believes it exists.
Only the world exists,
so a person who is born in the world lives as long as the world does,
and he is truly alive.
Existence can be born into existence and live,
that is, one can be existent and live,
only when one is born in the world, in the land of God.
Ghosts of all sorts have been in frantic revolt,
since I came to the world of ghosts to hunt them.
They have been up to too much mischief
so they are unable to throw their illusionary worlds away.
A ghost knows the events and stories of its life are
meaningless,
not to mention, its life as a whole;
but it only knows how to possess falseness
and consequently thinks it can also possess Truth.
Truth can only be sought; it cannot be possessed.
Seeking Truth means eliminating the picture world,
which is the ghost world,
as well as oneโs self that is a ghost.
But the ghost lives thinking the picture world is real
and judges what is right or wrong
according to the fixed conceptions and habits of that world.
There is nothing of any use in this, so discard everything –
discard yourself, your spouse and children, and your fortune.
The only way to go and live in the eternal never-dying world of Truth
is to discard everything without exception.
When God appears, ghosts vanish.
God drives away all the ghosts with his wisdom.
Only God can do this.
The heaven of eternal life that we have heard so much about
can only be attained after one discards and discards again.
In its meaningless life,
in its meaningless world,
the ghost blames this and that,
thinking he himself is the best
and that only he himself is right.
Now that God has appeared,
everything is revealed to be false and an illusion,
yet the ghost is shameless
and thinks he is deserving of such things.
Even though God has let the ghost,
who lives in the world that does not exist,
be born in the world of life that does exist,
it is not thankful.
Instead he only tries to regain the ghost world
he has already discarded.
Countless ghosts run away
because they do not want to discard.
