Master Woo Myung teaching about mind true self creator

Introduction

✨ In this teaching, Master Woo Myung reflects on the nature of the human mind and the true self.

According to Master Woo Myung, the mind that people normally identify with is simply an image created from memories, experiences, and personal identity. Because people live inside this self-constructed image, they remain separated from the original existence of the universe. 🌌

He explains that the eternal and unchanging Truth exists before and beyond all creation. This existence is the Creator itself, the source from which the universe arises. To truly live, a person must become one with this original existence.

Master Woo Myung teaches that this transformation occurs when individuals discard the accumulated mind of the self β€” the thoughts, identities, and attachments formed throughout life. Through this process of cleansing the mind and letting go of these delusions, a person can rediscover the true self beyond the individual identity.

In this state, one lives not as a separate individual but as part of the infinite universe itself, living in harmony with the fundamental nature of existence. 🌿

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

The Mind

One’s mind is
the image of oneself.

In one’s image, there is the mind of that image.

The eternal and never-changing Truth is
the state before the whole of creation came forth –
the place of the Creator.

Not a single thing can live without becoming this Creator.

The Creator is alive.

Man cannot live unless he becomes the Creator.

Man can become this existence
by throwing away his body and mind.

When he has been born again as
the Body and Mind of this existence,
he will live forever.

This existence is
the Universe that is before and beyond the universe;
it is the infinite Universe, itself.

And unless one is born again as
the Body and Mind of that existence,
there is no way one can live.

He must become free from his delusional mind –
the mind that is his own self-centered demon, his mara –
in order to be this existence.

He must throw away the existence he calls his self,
which is an existence of his own delusions,
so that he can become the existence that is the Creator.

Let us think about the existence we call our selves.

Each of us is an existence born from his parents with a body,
and we are living in this world as our selves.

Discarding the life that you have lived since you were a child,
as well as discarding your body,
is finding your true self.

Discarding them is repentance for one’s sins.

Sin is man’s knowledge –
knowledge that is false and mere delusion –
as well as his mold of thinking.

And because he lives trapped in them
he is a sinner, a demon.

Finding one’s true self is about cleansing the mind;
it is about repenting for the life one has lived
and eliminating his body.

By the time one has finished all eight levels,
he has become free from himself
and has wholly become the Creator.

He who has completely become this Creator
has Truth within the thought-mass in his forehead;
he is one who has received the seal of God on his forehead
as well as the third eye.

He who has repented for all of his sins,
who has sought absolution,
and who has completely cleansed his mind
is one who has reached completion.

He is one who has been born into Heaven while he is alive
and thus lives a heavenly life doing the work of Heaven.

🌿 Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation

At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners explore teachings from Master Woo Myung that encourage deeper understanding of the human mind.

Many people live guided by the thoughts, memories, and identities they have accumulated throughout their lives. These layers of the mind can shape how individuals perceive themselves and the world around them.

🌠 Through meditation and reflection, people can gradually become aware of these patterns and attachments. As they release these accumulated thoughts, the mind may become clearer and more peaceful.

According to the teachings of Master Woo Myung, this process of cleansing the mind allows individuals to experience life from a broader perspective, moving closer to harmony with the natural flow of existence.
