Introduction
✨ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the deeper meaning behind the paradoxical expression: “It does not exist yet it does; it exists but it does not.”
To the ordinary human mind, reality is perceived only through the limitations of personal experience, thoughts, and senses. Because of this limited viewpoint, people often say that the spiritual realm or the mind’s origin does not exist. From the perspective of the human mind, what cannot be seen or measured appears to be non-existence. 🌌
However, Master Woo Myung teaches that when a person transcends the limitations of the human mind and becomes one with the mind of the Creator, a completely different perspective emerges. In that state, the existence that once seemed invisible becomes clear.
The phrase “it does not exist yet it does, it exists but it does not” is therefore a way of explaining, through human language, a truth that goes beyond ordinary perception. It reflects the idea that the universe and all existence arise from the same ultimate reality.
According to Master Woo Myung, when the self and the accumulated world of thoughts disappear, only the original existence remains. In that state, heaven, earth, and humanity are seen as expressions of the same fundamental reality. 🌿
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
The True Meaning of “It Does Not Exist Yet It Does, It Exists but It Does Not”
It is often said that the place of the mind
does not exist –
that the place of the mind is non-existence.
People say that it does not exist
because they see it from their own minds.
It is the same for non-existence.
With human eyes, and from the human mind,
the Creator of the Universe does not exist –
it is non-existence.
But when one has become the mind of God,
in other words, when he has become the Creator itself,
he is able to see God.
Only a person who has the mind of the Creator itself
is able to see God.
When one’s self is gone and only God remains,
when he has become God,
he is able to see God.
It is expressed as,
“it does not exist yet it does,
it exists but it does not”
because man must be taught through words.
The whole Universe came forth and was created
because God is alive.
When man sees heaven, which is the place of the mind,
and when the Universe exists in the mind of man,
it does not exist; it is non-existence.
But when man dies, and only God remains,
he who has become God can know that God exists.
He who has become God is born in the land of God,
of Energy and Light,
and can live as an eternal immortal.
This existence is alive and exists,
but man cannot see this God because of the human mind.
Only when man who has eliminated all of himself
and the Universe in his mind while he is living,
in other words, only a person who has completely died for God
is able to see.
That it exists but does not,
does not exist but exists
means all things exist, but do not exist,
do not exist, and yet they do.
It means these states are one.
It means God exists, so heaven, earth and man exists,
and heaven, earth and man themselves are God.

🌿 Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners reflect on teachings from Master Woo Myung that explore the deeper nature of existence.
Human perception is often limited by the thoughts, memories, and identities accumulated over a lifetime. These layers of the mind can shape how people interpret reality.
🌠 Through meditation and introspection, individuals gradually let go of these accumulated perspectives. As the mind becomes clearer, many people report experiencing a deeper sense of connection with life and the universe.
The teachings of Master Woo Myung encourage individuals to explore these questions and reflect on the nature of existence, consciousness, and reality itself.
