Introduction
⨠In this teaching, Master Woo Myung reflects on a profound question that humanity has asked for centuries: why were people created? Rather than viewing human beings as separate from the Universe, he explains that humans are part of the same existence as heaven, earth, and all creations.
According to Master Woo Myung, the Universe simply exists as it is, and human beings are not separate from that reality. Humans are connected to God, the Earth, and the Universe itself, forming part of the same fundamental existence. š
Within this perspective, humanity was given a unique role ā to govern over creation and live in harmony with natureās flow. However, the difficulties of the human world arise because people often act according to personal greed and division, rather than fairness and balance.
This teaching emphasizes that when people return to the natural flow of existence and treat all creations with fairness and equality, they fulfill the true purpose for which humanity exists. šæ
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Why did heaven create people?
Humans are not made by God or by humans, nor do they appear on their own. Human is God, human is earth, and human is everything.
The real identity of the Universe is simply that which exists as it is.
If we had to speak of a reason people were created, it would be that they were made to govern over all creations. Specifically, people were made to rule over creations and live according to natureās flow. However, the human world is a problem because people do not do so.
In other words, man and creations are one and the same but man was made to govern over creations. This means that he should use all things in creation so that all people can live fair and equal lives, and not so that he can use them for his own greed.
All things are heaven itself, and heaven or the sky is absolutely fair. People should also share fairly and equally, and govern over all creations according to natureās flow.
This is the reason heaven created people.

šæ Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation
At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners explore teachings from Master Woo Myung that encourage people to reconsider humanityās role within the Universe.
Through meditation and reflection, individuals begin to understand that human life is connected to all creations and the natural flow of existence.
š When people live with fairness, balance, and awareness of this deeper connection, they begin to align with the purpose of humanity described in this teaching ā living in harmony with the Universe and with one another.
