📖 Introduction
🌫️ Many believe they are searching for truth. Yet according to Master Woo Myung, those who wander within their own convictions are already lost.
Truth is not loud. It does not argue. It does not announce its arrival. ✨ The Universe is silent and still, yet all creations arise from it.
When people cling to fixed ideas and self-existence, they lose sight of what is already present. Awakening begins by recognizing that the dream of self is the source of wandering.

Lost
Those who wander in truths are lost in truths.
Those who wander in their convictions are lost
in their convictions.
They are lost for they do not know Truth.
Their convictions sicken them
and truth sickens them.
No one in the world knows what Truth is.
One is unable to know the Universe’s true will,
for it is silent and still.
Man wanders about in his haste
and thus lives ignorant of the gifts that
the Universe is giving him.
Man is the most ignorant creature in the world.
What man knows
is how to preserve his body.
Though this is something he already has,
he lives thinking that it is everything.
Man is foolish indeed —
he has nowhere to go,
for he rejects the will of Universe
even though it is expressed to him in earnest.
Seeing this from the Universe,
it is a truly grievous sight indeed.
The Universe is always silent,
but all creations and their actions come from it.
Therefore all creations that are made by the Universe
and all of their actions
are the Universe;
they are the same as the Universe.
The true will of this true Universe
is offered within man
and so he is uninterested in it.
Instead he is deceived through and through
by the falseness brought forth of his mind
and thus cannot recognize Truth even upon seeing it.
Wake up all of you!
You must wake up from your dream and stand with me.
The Universe will never announce when it will arrive
nor will it proclaim its arrival.
You will not know,
for Truth is not boisterous but silent.
You enjoy your life
and are thus unable to become free of your karma.
Whether they are in want or they already have,
all are burdened.
Such burdens lead man astray and are unrighteous.
Truth did not come from somewhere
nor will it go anywhere.
Truth was never non-existent
nor was it ever existent.
But man makes much ado about finding it.
Confined to it, he makes judgments.
Man is ignorant,
for due to his fixed conceptions
he deems himself as being existent
instead of being non-existent.
And it is because of this sense of self-existence
that he is headed to his ruin.
He himself constantly divulges about his lot in life;
no one tells him he should or should not do so.
The highest and most noble existence in the world
is a person who lives absent of his mind.
Thus those who are able to find this person
are the most blessed people indeed.

At Santa Clara Meditation, being “lost” is understood as living inside fixed conceptions and self-centered conviction. 🌿
Truth is silent. It does not compete with noise or argument. When the false mind is discarded and the sense of self dissolves, the will of the Universe is recognized as always present.
To wake up is to abandon the dream of self.
To live absent of mind is to live as Truth.
