๐ Introduction
โจ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that true humility is not modest behavior or polite speech. True humility is the absence of oneโs self.
According to Master Woo Myung, when the self no longer exists, acceptance becomes natural. Lowering oneself is no longer effortโit is simply the state of being. From that state, love, mercy, and wisdom arise naturally. ๐
Humility is not something we practice through willpower. It is what remains when the Creator dwells within.

The Meaning of Humility
Humility is the absence of oneโs self.
Because one does not exist, one is able to be humble.
Because one does not exist, one can accept.
Because one does not exist, one can lower himself.
True humility is accepting.
Truly humble are the deeds one does
in the absence of oneโs self.
Be humble.
Be loving.
Be wise.
Let not your left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Be merciful.
Love your enemies.
Love your neighbors as you love yourself.
Such are not words one can become
by merely speaking them.
These are things that one will naturally become
once the Creator dwells within.
Man is incapable of
keeping his left hand ignorant of what his right hand is doing,
for the deed remains in his mind.

๐ Reflect at Santa Clara Meditation
At Santa Clara Meditation, humility is understood as transformation, not behavior. ๐ฟ
As long as the self exists, actions remain stored in the mind. Pride, recognition, and attachment follow. But when the self disappears and the Creator dwells within, deeds are done without ownership.
True humility is not suppression.
It is the natural state of one who has become Truth.
And where the Creator remains, eternal life begins.
