โœจ INTRODUCTION

In this contemplative passage, Master Woo Myung reflects on the simplicity of being. ๐ŸŒฟ

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Me

No matter how much I seek to find
what it is that I do not know,
there is nothing.

Nor is there anything for me to know,
for I am me.

Human life is to simply live,
and it is one that is lived in the world.
Such is human life;
such is living.

But no one in the world knows this,
and yet people go about simply living their lives.

This way or that,
man lives one lifetime.
A life lived absent of will
is a righteous life.

But he does not know this;
he hopes for he is human.

Open your eyes, all of you!
Open your eyes so that
together with me
you will know everything.

My life exists as it is and I live it as it is;
there is nothing for me to know.
