ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
What is a personās disposition or bent of mind? How is it created, and why does it disappear when one becomes enlightened?
When a person has become the state where he has absolutely no self, he can see other peopleās dispositions; sometimes he can see othersā dispositions are dark or murky. A personās disposition is located on either side of his chest, spreading downwards past his lower belly. If one’s disposition is of a blackish hue, the person is greedy and desires for money, love or such.
The disposition is a manifestation of oneās brain which is the mind. The disposition of a person who cleanses his mind is clear, and in order for even this to disappear, one must achieve absolute enlightenment ā when there is no self at all. We commonly believe that if we live without human minds, we will lose everything. In fact, not only does everything remain as it is, we gain even more.
The disposition located on the left side of the body shows oneās greed for money and the right side shows his greed for love. If those desires are not needed at the present time, they form a blackish mass and attach to the left and right side of his belly button. Ordinary people cannot see someoneās disposition.
