INTRODUCTION

✨ In The Correct Meaning of Eternal Life, Master Woo Myung explains that eternal life is not symbolic—it means to truly never die. And to never die, one must become Truth itself. 🌌

🌿 He teaches that what prevents people from living eternally is not the body, but the human mind filled with karma, sin, and false images. When these are completely eliminated, Truth emerges and one is reborn as the body and mind of the world. 🌠

Eternal life, therefore, is attained not by belief, but by discarding the false mind and becoming one with Truth. ✨

The Correct Meaning of Eternal Life

Eternal life means to live forever. To live forever is to never die, and never dying means that one is truly alive. In order to live forever, one must fulfill the prerequisite condition for eternal life – one must become Truth itself. In order to do this, one must completely eliminate all the karma and sins that one has committed. Then, Truth emerges and one can become Truth.

Karma is the sins that one has committed. The sins of man are that he has not become one with Truth, the origin; he has turned against Truth; and he lives within his own mind world. When he is absolved of his sins, returns to Truth, the origin, and is reborn as Truth he will have eternal life. Only Truth lives forever because only Truth is life itself. In other words, man will live forever only when he is reborn as the Soul and Spirit of God, of Truth.

Man unknowingly lives trapped in his world of hell that is sin. From the viewpoint of Truth, this hell world is a non-existing world, a false world of images. Because man lives within this world of false images he is not alive, but dead. Strictly speaking, a person who lives in a non-existing world does not exist. He thinks he exists and that he is alive, but it is the ghost, a false image, thinking it exists and is alive.

This hell world is a non-existent world, a world of death. The real world is alive, and although everything that exists in the world is also alive, only man is dead. He will be able to live when he is reborn as the body and mind of the world. He who is born on the earth will live in an illusionary world of the earth, while he who is born in heaven will live in heaven when he is reborn as the body and mind of heaven.

Although all creations are alive, man is not born in heaven because he has possessed his own mind. Therefore, he will live in heaven when he is “poor in mind”. To be “poor in mind” means one has no human minds. When one does not have human minds, he becomes one with the body and mind of the world, and thus death no longer exists for him.

Consider this – the sky existed before eternity, exists now, and will exist after eternity. There is no death when one is reborn as the body and mind of the sky and he will live in the kingdom of the sky eternally. The world is originally completely enlightened and alive but man’s mind is not able to become one with the sky and he possesses his own mind which is an act against the sky. Thus the purpose of this study is to enable people to be saved, that is, to attain Buddha-hood, by being reborn as Buddha, the Son of God.

Only the Truth can bring forth Truth; and only Truth will live eternally. It is the study of becoming Truth. Huh, huh, cham – literally “false, false, truth” – is a Korean expression which means after all the falseness has been erased only Truth remains. A person who lives in his mind world insists that only he is right and others are wrong, but just as Jesus said, there is no one in the world who is righteous; no one in the world is true. Therefore everyone should cleanse his wrongful mind and go to heaven while he is living. Nothing in the world is more urgent or important than this.

By discarding their false minds, people can be reborn as Truth and resurrected as an eternally living immortal.
