INTRODUCTION

🌌 In this reflective writing, Master Woo Myung contrasts the quiet rest found in nature with the endless busyness of the human world. While birds, wind, and water bring peace, human life is filled with struggle and unrest.

✨ This teaching reveals that people suffer not because life is difficult, but because they live trapped inside their own minds, endlessly chasing desires with no final destination. True rest exists only in the true world, which most people do not know where to find, as taught by Master Woo Myung.

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Untitled 1

The sounds of birds, the wind and water β€”
the sounds of nature β€” give my body and mind rest,
but man’s world is foul.

People living in the world find life a struggle,
but they do not know the reason behind their hardships
because they are all living inside their own minds.

A person with nowhere to go is always busy,
uselessly and endlessly busy,
no matter how far he goes and goes and goes.

He goes where his countless desires for achievement lead him,
but no matter how far he follows them,
there is no final destination.

My heart is full of pity,
because he does not know that the true world
is where he must truly go.

🌿 REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners are guided to step out of the endless busyness of the mind and rediscover the true world where rest naturally exists. 🌠
Through this process, one no longer wanders without direction and instead returns to the place where life truly rests, according to the teaching of Master Woo Myung.
