🌟 INTRODUCTION

✨ In this reflective teaching, Master Woo Myung examines the views of the Greek theologian Origen and clarifies which of his ideas about salvation align with Truth and which arise from misunderstanding. 🌿

He explains that salvation is not found through an external figure or forced renunciation, but only when the self is completely eliminated and one returns to the natural flow of life. 🌌

This message reveals why perfection is found not in escaping the world, but in living fully within it while becoming free of greed. 🌠

πŸ“„ ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Greek theologian Origen said that man and the whole world must seek salvation and that to do so is the process through which all creations return to God. He also said that complete people will come about through Jesus Christ who came to the world in human form. Life on earth is a continuation of training and discipline for people of the faith. Thus they must discard all desires, thoughts of marriage, military service, and government jobs and instead return to a unity with God. Which of his points are right and which are wrong?

What Origen asserted is not right because it is wrong to try and seek salvation from outside one’s self. It is not through a particular person that one will find salvation; it happens when he completely eliminates himself.

Jesus Christ taught that heaven exists and that the kingdom of God is near but he was not the actual Savior. The Savior will save everything in the world and guide them to the land of God by making them eliminate themselves. Such a person is the true Savior.

It is also wrong to discard worldly things such as desires, marriage, military service, and government jobs. In people’s lives, discarding is having. In other words, when a person does not marry, the desire to marry will take deep roots within his mind which makes it more difficult for him to go to the land of God. It is not through one’s forced actions that he can get there. It is nature’s flow that people do all that is required of them as they live.

Perfection exists when man does action. When man discards his human instincts, it only deepens the roots of his human mind, thereby making it impossible to go to the world of God. Such is incompletion and until now religion was incomplete.

Now, anyone can go to the land of God and anyone can become God. In the land of God, one lives life but nothing exists. That nothing exists means that one can enter the land of God when he has no greed at all.
