INTRODUCTION
✨ In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that everyone instinctively knows they are incomplete.
True completion is not found through religion or morality alone, but only through the absolution of all sins—cleansing the mind of everything that is not Truth and being reborn as the everlasting, never-changing Truth. 🌿
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Human Completion Is to Be Absolved of One’s Sins
When I ask people to ask themselves if they are real or have achieved human completion, religious people unanimously answer that they are not and have not. Everybody knows that they are not complete. When I ask people who diligently live religious lives whether or not they can love their enemies or their neighbors as they do themselves, whether they can have great mercy and compassion, anyone who is honest says they cannot.
Because they have enemies in their minds and do not have true love in their minds, they can love neither their enemies nor their neighbors. For them neither great mercy nor compassion is possible as they do not have Truth, which is the mind of great mercy and compassion.
People have become egocentric and thus they are so far from Truth that there is no Truth in their minds. There are enemies and hatred, self-importance, pretentiousness, love, liking, disliking, selfishness, egocentricity, family, money, and fame in their minds. People have accumulated so many things in their minds while alive.
When we consume food, the nutrients we need are used by the body, and what is not needed is excreted. Unlike the body, the mind cannot excrete what it takes in. With these things in the mind, there is immeasurable agony and anguish; people cannot rest. Because they retain these shadows of the past memories, which are falseness, they cannot become one with Truth. This is sin.
Sin is not being Truth, which is the origin. When you cleanse all that is not Truth, which are the sins in your mind, and are reborn as the everlasting and never-changing Truth, you can reach completion; only by the absolution of all your sins can you accomplish all and reach completion.
Just as your body excretes unnecessary food, you can excrete the unnecessary false mind by cleansing the mind, by absolving your sin through repentance.
