INTRODUCTION
π In this writing, Master Woo Myung explains that the will of the false self inevitably leads to death, while the will of Truth leads to living as Truth itself.
This teaching reveals that when one discards the false self and lives only by the will of Truth, the self becomes God, and it is this self that truly lives. πΏ
Master Woo Myung clarifies that sacrificing oneβs own desires for the sake of Truth is the way to store eternal treasures in Heaven, rather than accumulating fleeting gains on earth. β¨
π ORIGINAL WRITING BY Master Woo Myung
A Person Who Lives by His Own Will Shall Die and the True Self of a Person Who Lives by the Will of Truth Shall Live
The Bible teaches us that those who die for God do not die. What this means is that a person who discards his false self for the sake of Truth will become Truth and live as Truth. The will of a person who is false is also false, and what is false dies. If one discards his false self and lives with the will of Truth then his self becomes God, and it is this self that lives.
He who becomes God while he is living and lives only for God and Godβs land – a person who sets aside his own will, ignores everything he finds fun and interesting, and puts aside everything he wants to do – will live as Truth, which is God. On the other hand, for one who does as he desires and lives according to his own will, his false ghost will live and God will die.
When, for the sake of God, one discards and sacrifices his self and accumulates blessings in Godβs kingdom, such everlasting blessings are in Godβs kingdom and are his. This is the meaning of what is said in the Bible, that fools store their treasures on earth, while the wise store their treasures in heaven.
