INTRODUCTION
๐ In this writing, Master Woo Myung examines the ancient claim of the Greek philosopher Democritus, who argued that all creation arises from the motion and division of atoms.
This teaching reveals that while atoms appear fundamental, they are not the true origin. Instead, all things are created by a deeper existence called vitalityโan energy that has no fixed form yet truly exists, and which becomes creation when it takes on form. ๐ฟ
Master Woo Myung clarifies that creation does not arise from motion alone, but from this formless vitality existing as it is, which is the real source behind all phenomena. โจ

Are Atoms the Origin of Creation?
The Greek philosopher Democritus contended that the original element of all creations is the motion and division of atoms. Is this right?
The contention of the Greek philosopher Democritus that the original element of all creations is the motion and division of atoms is not right. All things are created by vitality, which is similar to electrons that are smaller than atoms. This vitality is something that does not have real substance, but yet it does; when it changes into something with form, we call it creation. It does not happen through motion, but rather, through what exists as it is.
