INTRODUCTION
β¨ In this enlightening teaching, Master Woo Myung explains that only a person whose consciousness has become Truth is truly alive. Such a person sees, hears, knows, and speaks from the wisdom of eternal, never-dying God, the everlasting Truth.
Those whose consciousness is still bound by the self live in a dead stateβunable to truly see or hear, unaware even of their own blindness. Only when the mind becomes vast enoughβfree of the selfβcan one awaken to true life. π
ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG
Try As They May, the Dead Cannot Hear the Words of a Person Whose Consciousness Is Alive
A person whose consciousness has become Truth
is the person who is alive.
That his consciousness is alive means
it has become the everlasting Truth,
which in other words is the eternal and never-dying God.
Man is able to see, hear, know, and speak
in proportion to the size of his mind.
A dead person does not know that
his consciousness is incomplete;
so he is unable to see even though he has eyes
or hear even though he has ears.
However, he does not even know that
he can neither see nor hear.
His consciousness is at such a low level
and so he has yet to reach a big enough state.
