INTRODUCTION

✨ In this illuminating teaching, Master Woo Myung explains the nature of a divine beingβ€”one who lives in the world yet is not bound by it. Such a being participates in life without dwelling in it, free from attachments and expectations. 🌿

While people anxiously await Heaven or a savior descending from the clouds, they fail to recognize that a true heavenly being may appear completely ordinary. This writing reveals that Heaven is not a distant place, but the state of one who knows Truth and lives without attachments, dwelling in the eternal. 🌌

ORIGINAL WRITING BY MASTER WOO MYUNG

Divine Being

A being that is divine lives life but is not present in it.
He lives in the world but does not dwell in it.
Man lives in the world,
but a true being does not:
a true being may live in the world
and he may live life,
but he is not present in them.

Heaven is not a place that is somewhere in the sky,
but people anxiously await Heaven.
They want a savior from Heaven
who will appear before them in a cloud
to save them.
People think they are smart,
but they too will die one day
after having lived foolishly.

A heavenly being is one who knows Heaven very well.
But even if that being were here,
people would not deem him to be the one
if he were seemingly ordinary.

They would rather sit and judge
whether or not he is indeed heavenly.
Though the heavenly being lives among people,
he lives in Heaven,
for he has no attachments
or anything else.
