π INTRODUCTION
β¨ Human beings live with a mind of hunger, always trying to fill the void inside. πΏ
In this profound teaching, Master Woo Myung reveals that the human mind β filled with illusions and desires β is false and hungry because it has turned away from Truth.
People βdevourβ everything: wealth, power, knowledge, relationships β believing that such things will bring satisfaction.
Yet the more they consume, the more empty they feel.
This endless hunger is the karma of falseness, the mark of a mind that has forgotten its true nature.
Only by discarding everything the mind has devoured β every image, memory, and attachment β can one return to righteousness and Truth, and finally live in peace. π

Man Has a Mind of Hunger Which He Tries to Satiate by Devouring Whatever He Can
Manβs mind holds illusions, which in themselves are hungry and empty minds. He always feels empty and hungry because he lives with these minds. The mind of hunger is a false mind that takes pictures. The human mind stores everything that it has stolen from the world; it is a mind that lives having turned away from Truth. Therefore man is a sinner and he is bound to his karma.
A characteristic of the human mind is to βeatβ whatever it can, to have as much as it can, because only then can it boast of its own greatness and show off its false self. Man, for whom this characteristic has become a habit, keeps βeatingβ everything, but this only results in more burdens and suffering and he ends up dying inside this tomb. The human mind was created to resemble the Universe that is God, but since it is not the mind of God itself, it devours everything in the Universe. However what it consumes is false and not true. Falseness is that which does not exist; it is oneβs own delusions and thoughts. The word βhungerβ usually describes hunger for food. However, real hunger is the hunger of the mind – when our minds are filled with a void from falseness. This is the reason man is always hungry.
Until now man was not righteous and there was no method to stop oneβs mind from habitually consuming everything. This is the reason we have been living in a world of continuous wars where people live only for their own survival; a world without love where people hate each other. It has been a world with divisions between nations; where everything is clearly divided into what is yours and what is mine. It was this way because we made and protected our own mind worlds and adhered to our preconceptions and habits, unaware that we were doing so.
Man acts and speaks according to what he has devoured and stored in his mind. A person with a righteous mind will live righteously in the land of righteousness. Righteousness is eliminating all minds that one has devoured. Then it is possible to get to Truth and live righteously.

π REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION
At Santa Clara Meditation, one learns how to stop feeding the false mind and begin discarding everything the mind has devoured. π±
As the false self β the hungry mind β disappears, the true self that is complete and content naturally emerges.
This is the state of righteousness, where there is no hunger, no lack, and no separation.
To live righteously is to live without hunger β
to live as Truth, in oneness with the Universe. π
