๐ŸŒŸ INTRODUCTION

โœจ In this profound and essential teaching, Master Woo Myung reveals that true discarding is more than letting goโ€”it is the spiritual death of the false self. ๐ŸŒฟ
Attachments arise from the pains of survival, and the self inside the mind is made of remembered thoughtsโ€”the actions that form karma.

To discard means to throw away these remembered thoughts, to cleanse the mind completely, and to die spiritually to be born anew in Truth. ๐ŸŒˆ

Discarding

Discarding is throwing away your attachments –
it is to be without self.
Peopleโ€™s attachments come from the pains they take
in living a life of survival.
Attachments are oneโ€™s self inside his mind;
this self in his mind is his remembered thoughts;
remembered thoughts are the actions he took
and they become his karma.

The way to shed your karma
is to discard your memories.
Such is repentance;
such is penitence;
such is emptying the mind;
such is cleansing the mind;
such is spiritual death.

๐ŸŒ  REFLECT AT SANTA CLARA MEDITATION

At Santa Clara Meditation, practitioners follow the method of discarding, removing the attachments, remembered thoughts, and karma that make up the false self. ๐ŸŒฑ
This process is not mere letting goโ€”it is true repentance, the cleansing of the soul, and the rebirth of the spirit.
Through discarding, one becomes empty and free, living as the eternal self that is Truth itself. ๐ŸŒ
